A few things I have learned about running a small-business:
Pay your bills in full each month.
Use credit cards only when you have to.
Don't hire family members.
Simplify your standard of living.
Work hard, than work even harder.
Market your business.
You will succeed.
Pay yourself first.
Don't take unsolicited advice from people who are not where you want to be.
Hang out with people who are where you want to be.
Remember where you came from.
When you do make it, give back.
