My new blog will discuss all things promotional products. We all know promotional products are a great way to market your business and everything else in between. I thought it best that I create a blog that concentrates on promotional products only.

By not posting my two fields of expertise on the same blog means things won’t become too confusing for you folks. If you don’t know by now. EastLake Marketing Group does small-business marketing consulting and also sells promotional products.

Everything we do has a beginning and an end. With that said, as of Monday I will end blog posting for 2007. Time for me to put together all EastLake's financials for my accountant, time to check my personal and business goals, time to revise EastLake's marketing plan, time to prepare for Christmas and New Years with family and friends. Ok fellow business people 2007 is here. I hope you had a great Christmas with family and friends and you had great fun on New Years Eve. Now let's get back to running our buinesses. How are you going to make 2007 work for you and your customers? Are you going to use the same old tried and true methods? Are you going to be creative and try something bold and different? Pull out your 2006 marketing plan. Did you accomplish any of the things you wrote? Did you even make a marketing plan?

Well if you didn't do either, now is the time. While new business ideas are fresh in your mind. And when your working on your marketing plan, remember one thing, it's always about the customer, not you or your business.
